Abstract:
Objective Compressors and turbines are two key equipment in compressed air energy storage power stations, and their control is usually achieved by the equipment's built-in control system, resulting in scattered control and a complex regulation process. With the proposal of DCS (Distributed Control System) integration technology, it is significant to carry out DCS integration technology for compressed air energy storage power stations.
Method Firstly, the current research situation of compressed air energy storage power stations from DCS, compressor control systems, and air turbine control systems were analyzed. Then, three DCS integration ideas were proposed, and the feasibility and the advantages of implementing DCS integration in compressed air energy storage power stations were also analyzed. Finally, the DCS integrated configuration scheme was explored.
Result Through the analysis of compressed air energy storage power stations, the difficulty in achieving integration lies in the control systems of compressors and air turbines. The analysis results show that the integration of DCS for the two major equipment is technically feasible.
Conclusion By introducing the integrated design analysis of DCS for the entire compressed air energy storage power plant, this provides ideas and directions for the subsequent design of DCS integrated solutions for compressed air energy storage power stations and provides a method for achieving centralized control of compressed air energy storage power stations.
