Abstract: This paper is focus on material properties of steel mill ball and give a completed definition of reduce ball technology. Then the application of high-Cr steel ball was introduced. The performance and price of steel mill balls have a very different in the market. An economic research was studied according to a project case for different steel mill balls. The suggestion of steel ball and lining board selection were presented in this article.
