Application of Live Detection Technology on the Operation and Maintenance of Power Grid Electrical Equipments

  • To ensure the condition-based maintenance and hidden trouble detection of power equipments carried out smoothly, the application of live detection on the operation and maintenance of power grid equipments has been as the focus of various works. In this paper, the principle and the suitable objects that widely used in the operation and maintenance of power grid electrical equipments, such as infrared detection, ultraviolet imagery, ultrasonic method, ultrahigh frequency (UHF), transient earth voltage (TEV), harmonic electric field method and chemical composition analysis method are summarized, some conclusions would provide reference for the following engineers that engage in the power grid live detection work.
