Anti-corrosion Design of Concrete Structure in Sulfate Strong Corrosive Environment in Saline Soil in Plateau Area

  •   Introduction  This paper aims to do specially design for durability of concrete structure to improve the corrosion resistance of concrete which is in strong sulfate corrosive environment of saline soil in a power transmission project in Tibet.
      Method  Analyzed the corrosion mechanism of sulfate to concrete and the influencing factors of the durability of concrete. At last found out the technical measures to prevent or reduce the erosion of concrete.
      Result  Combined with the actual situation of the project, we finally determine the concrete mix ratio, and add anti-sulfate corrosion preservatives in the concretet to improve the durability of underground concrete structures such as pouring pile and cap foudation.
      Conclusion  This work provides some guidance for the durability design of concrete under strong sulfate corrosive environment.
