Research on Intelligent Inspection System in Enclosed Valve Hall of ±800 kV VSC-HVDC Converter Station

    Abstract
  •   Introduction  The real-time monitoring and regular inspection for the primary electrical equipment in valve hall is extremely important to safety operation of converter station.
      Method  In this study we investigated the demand of regular inspection of ±800 kV VSC-HVDC converter station, combined with the character of valve hall and operational experience in of converter station.
      Result  The complete solution of intelligent inspection system in enclosed valve hall of ±800 kV VSC-HVDC converter station is provided.
      Conclusion  Therefore, due to highly integrated of the proposed solutions, the automation level of inspection works will be increased dramatically.
