Design and Application of Evaporative Cooling Ventilation System for High Temperature Workshop of a Power Plant in a Hot and Humid Area

  •   Introduction  In order to reduce the energy consumption of the ventilation and air-conditioning system, a parameter selection method for the evaporative cooling ventilation system suitable for the high temperature workshop of a power plant in a hot and humid area is proposed, and the analysis is combined with the design example.
      Method  The basis for selecting outdoor parameters of evaporative cooling was determined through the comparison of outdoor hourly parameters and theoretical analysis, and on this basis, a method for determining outdoor parameters of evaporative cooling system was proposed. At the same time, an example of the design of the cooling and ventilation system in the inverter room of a power plant in a hot and humid area was analyzed.
      Result  The results show that the evaporative cooling system is feasible for cooling and ventilation in a high temperature workshop in a hot and humid area, and the system operation effect shows that its energy saving effect is significant.
      Conclusion  The proposed parameter selection method is correct and effective, and can provide guidance for practical engineering application.
